This publication’s objective is to provide a basic framework and guidance for individuals & organizations to safely integrate the use of drones into their SAR missions. In this book, we will talk about how to become proficient in search and rescue. We also go over the requirements that you or your organization will need to be able to utilize this technology. Talk about the training events that occur in specific locations & tips on how to post them yourself. We discuss safety and ground operations, search patterns and when they are most effective, we write about and have photo demonstrations of the types of searches, the equipment, as well as the software used.
