This course covers the Fundamentals in the use of sUAS in support of creating a formal UAS operation. Presents material by recorded lectures, visual and text, quizzes, and practical assignments and makes possible the development and acquisition of the levels of confidence and mastery needed to create UAS Procedure and Operation Manual.

This course covers the standardized Crew Training Program and flight evaluation procedures.  Presents material and specific guidelines for executing a sUAS Training Program.  The course establishes qualifications, refresher, mission and continuation training and evaluation requirements.  Presents material by recorded lectures, visual and text, quizzes, and practical assignments and makes possible the development and acquisition of the levels of confidence and mastery needed to apply to create a UAS Training Program.

The course consists of three topics: Law Enforcement, Fire Operations and Search & Rescue. Each topic is facilitated by recorded lectures, quizzes, and practical assignments. The students will be taught to understand the practical application within each topic.
